Litmus Paper

Litmus is a tree lichen fungi and is made into small paper strips or a liquid for testing acids or alkalines.
Blue Litmus paper determines if something is acidic. It turns red in solutions with a pH less than 7.

2 Red Litmus paper determines if something is alkaline. It turns blue in solutions with a pH greater than 7.

Materials:

1Red Litmus paper

2Blue Litmus paper

3Sodium Hydroxide

4Hydrochloric acid

5 Pipette

6 4 Test tubes

Steps

1 Rip the litmus paper in half and put half in each test tube.

2 Add 3 drops of hydrochloric acid to the blue litmus paper in test tube 1.

3 Add 3 drops of hydrochloric acid to the red litmus paper in test tube 2.

4 Add 3 drop of Sodium Hydroxide to the blue litmus paper in test tube 3.

5 Add 3 drops of Sodium Hydroxide to the red litmus paper in test tube 4.

1. Red Cabbage
2. Beaker
3. Bunsen Burner
4. Pipette
5. Sodium Hydroxide
6. Hydrochloric acid
7. Test Tubes
8. Paper towel
9. Test tube rack
10. Water

Steps

Chop up the red cabbage into small pieces. Place in a beaker and cover with a small amount of water.

1. Bring the solution to the boil using a bunsen burner and then turn off the heat. Let it sit to cool down.

2. Pour the cabbage water through a paper towel into a beaker. The dark purple liquid in the jar is the pH indicator liquid.

3. Suck up the indicator into a pipette.

4. Use the cabbage indicator to test the acidity of the different household liquids by slowly putting a drop at a time into the test tube.

My family

yesterday we did our family for a activity we had to make a google drawing of our family i made the t shirt coulours of my family's favorite coulours we all have different  favorite  coulours.

what i found hard was making the characters.
