This week we watched a movie about Bullying and how it hurt a boy called Auggie. He had a big sister called Via. 

He was picked on because of his rare facial disease called craniofacial difference. 

When he was wearing a mask on Halloween he heard his friend say he would kill himself if he looked like Auggie. 

This made Auggie feel broken and sad.

Here’s a quote from Auggie: I am kind of used to how I look by now.

Canterbury Floods

Hello,

 In today's blog I will be talking about the Canterbury floods. The floods have been going on for 3 days non stop. It even made bridges crumble and break down due to the high waters in the floods making them shake and slump down.

It made people evacuate in Springfield, the Upper and Lower Selwyn Huts and in Peel Forest, while people trapped by floodwaters were rescued in multiple locations. In Ashburton, the river had been rising rapidly and the army was sent in case residents need to be evacuated.

Cyber Bullying

Hello today blog is about Cyber bullying.

Cyber bullying or cyber harassment is a form of bullying or harassment using electronic means. Cyber bullying and cyber harassment are also known as online bullying. An example of cyber bullying is when somebody post an inappropriate picture of you which makes you feel down.

 Or like when Cyber bullying includes sending, posting, or sharing negative, harmful, false, or mean content about someone else. It can include sharing personal or private information about someone else causing embarrassment or humiliation. Some cyber bullying crosses the line into unlawful or criminal behaviour and there are laws against it.

 

Maths with Temauria

At school we did maths. My friend Temauria and i tried to finish our work fast so we could have free time. The maths work was time division and subtraction. We also Studied geometric shapes and named and drew 2d and 3d shapes.

Finding Dory background music

 In hurmanu 2 we have been making a background music for a non audio seen of finding dory we had to make it so it kind of fits in with the seen so this is what i made.

Throw the past  week in hurumanu 3 we had to chose out of 5 options and I chose cats are better than dogs.I don't think cats are better than dogs but this is what but there was no option for dogs are better than cats but this is what i write.

Cats are better than dogs.

Do you want your clothes to be destroyed and your furniture to be treated to bits well? I'm going to tell you why a cat is for you.

Dogs sniff each other 's dogs but that's not clean, they are everywhere and they need to walk at least 30 mins a day. 

Do you want to pick up dog poop for twelve years? It is even harder when it is runny.

Yeah i wouldn't either .And what if your dog poops and you don't have a poop bag you will get fined. 

Do you want to wait 5 mins just for your dog to wee on a tree just to leave a mark for another dog yeah me either. 

If they are not trained they can wee on your carpet  then you'll need to clean it up and wait for it to dry all day.

And they can wee own your neighbours lawn and they can complain to the police and may get fined. 

At night if your dog barks your neighbours can get irritated and complain and your dog can get taken away for a day.

A reason that dogs bark at night is because they might hear noises from your neighbours house or across the street or they just want to go outside.

Cats don't bark like dogs do there, not as noisier either. Because they just sleep all day.

But dogs need to be walked 30 mins a day which is time consuming and if they don't get walked they will get miserable and fat and then they won't like you.

And cats clean themselves but having a dog means you’ll need to drive or walk your dog to the dog wash which is time consuming and costs money.

Hurumanu 1

In Nga Tangata, Hurumanu 1 we studied the lives of some local,national,international heroes.

A hero is a male or female or a group of people that save people in danger.

I made slides about 6 sporting heroes. They were, Richie Mccaw  ,Chelsea Bremner, 

Valarie Adams , Jack Lovelock, Usain bolt  and Serena williams

I also made some slides about a local hero who achieved good things writing for children.She was Margaret Mahy.

We read about a musical group called Crowded House. They were said to be heroes for just one day when they performed in Christchurch.  We discussed the meaning of hero worship’.The hero I worship is Michael Jordan.

Earthquake heroes I researched were. Erwin R Poloczac,Craig Tompson,Allisen Partridge,Andrea,Robinson,Mayor Bob Parker,Amo Perellini and St Johns ambulance.

            I also wrote about myself as a superhero.  My alias I Here is my story:

Hi, I'm Unknown. I'm a superhero and I'm gonna tell you my past. So when I was 15 I was a pilot and one day I was doing a test flight while I was testing the jet. There were some random alien type planes shooting me out of the air.I got hit so I was about to have a crash landing. Seconds before the crash landing the motor exploded which was an energy core and somehow i absorbed it and now I have super powers. These are my super powers Super strength, Super speed,flying and my favourite is teleportation. And now I try to find the aliens that shot me out of air.
